Exam #2
- Due Friday by 3pm
- Points 10
This is an oral exam. I originally scheduled this for sometime between April 2 and April 11; however, I will give people the option of delaying it until April 22 to May 2. I will give people multiple chances to sign up for times. You may also email me directly if you want to reserve a spot.
The exam will take about ten minutes. You may not use notes. The exam will cover the entire semester.
I will ask you to define three different terms from the list below. I will pick these using a random number generator. For each term, please be ready to explain what it means in the context of the contemporary politics of East Asia, through logic and an example. I will ask follow-up questions to give you every opportunity to get full credit.
Terms:
- autocoup
- civic density
- common conjecture / coordination
- economic interdependence
- gender gap (political and economic)
- presidentialism
